WHAT IS IT?
The PastFx DISTORTiiON is based upon the vintage mains powered MXR Distortion II.
The MXR Distortion II is generally known for its use on "Siamese Dream" by Billy Corgon of Smashing Pumpkins.

- True Bypass
- Resonance Control - Adds a peaked low bass boost to the signal. As the control is turned clockwise two different types of clipping can be mixed in parallel.
- Drive Control - extra gain available compared to original.
- Symmetrical / Asymmetrical clipping pushbutton.
- 3 way low frequency toggle selector switch.This provides a frequency hump which becomes prominent the more the Resonance control is turned up. Perfect for matching specific speaker cabinets in a recording situation. (Stock setting - 55Hz)
- "Q" pushbutton switch is an additional feature which smooths out the peaks of the frequency hump selected in the 3 way toggle switch.This is a subtle feature and again becomes noticeable the more the Resonance control is turned clockwise
- Operates off 18VDC (2.1mm centre tip) does not have any internal voltage doubler circuit. This help keep floor noise to a minimum.
